Functional Fitness

Focusing on balance work, body weight exercises and band resistance challenges the intention of this class is all about slow and controlled movements focusing on the quality and form of each rep over the quantity. Students are encouraged to meet their bodies where they are at for that day and to connect each movement with their mind. Be ready to build muscle, improve mobility and experience what it feels like to focus on your health in a supportive environment. Come as you are, this is an all-levels fitness class.

Functional Fitness is a class you can take barefoot, helping you root your feet and improve your balance and control. Without the barrier of shoes, you can feel the subtle adjustments in your posture and engage muscles that support stability. Grippy socks are always optional, offering added traction for those who prefer extra grip, but the focus is on grounding yourself through each movement. It's a great way to build strength and awareness from the ground up!

*Please note: If you plan to wear shoes during class, we ask that you bring a separate pair of indoor shoes to help protect the floor and maintain a clean environment for all. Thank you!*

If this is your first visit, please arrive 10 minutes early to meet your instructor and go over important information before class begins. This helps us ensure you feel comfortable, confident, and ready to move!

Student Cancellation Policy:

Members: Please cancel your registration more than 4 hours prior to the start of class. If you do not cancel your reservation for an offering that is full, thereby preventing another client from joining the class, your card on file will be charged $15.00.

Class Pass Holders: Please cancel your registration more than 4 hours prior to the start of class. If you cancel with more than 4 hours notice, your credit(s) will be refunded to your account. If not, you will not receive a refund.

Drop In Clients: Please contact us at hello@breatheindy.com to cancel your reservation for any offering. If you cancel more than 4 hours before the start time of the class, you will receive a studio credit to be used for a future Breathe Studio group class within seven (7) days. If you cancel less than 4 hours before the start time, you will not receive a credit.

Special Events and Workshops: All workshops and special events are final sale and non-refundable. No refunds or credits will be given for workshop or special event bookings.
